Dumb fun
I thought this film was just smashing! The cast's performances really bring down the house! A real balls-to-the-wall film!
OK, enough of the demolition puns. I enjoyed this film, dumb as it is (do they really expect us to believe a wrecking ball would roll like that?). The special effects aren't too bad for a 1940s b-movie. This is the kind of movie which used to appear a lot on TV schedules (I believe it was shown more than 10 times on NYC television during the 1950s).
Three and a half stars/five.

How not to wreck a building.
A 40's love triangle, 2 men,one babe. This is very slowly unfolding as they all are working for a company that is tearing down a building. Guys are killed, mangled, dangle precariously with steel beams falling around their heads the whole time! They are wearing hardhats though!
Print is not bad with ok sound. I like oldies but two stars is the best I could give it.
